Everywhere I go, I see people wearing "I love..."-shirts declaring their love for a city (most of the time it's NY) or something else. In the depths of my closet, I found this cute little top which says "I love See by Chloé". I bought it ages ago and totally forgot about it.

I'm wearing it with my all-time favourite Patrizia Pepe shorts and my new Rocco Duffle bag. I have been mulling over that bag for almost a year (see the post from 22nd of July 2009). It was finally the shoulder strap they added to the new version that made me indulge in it.

Weekend Pick

Tweet I was so busy last week working and finalizing my bachelor thesis, that I just couldn't find the time to prepare a decent blog post. But I figuered, I should tell you about this: DeathComesClose just launched some new fabulous T-Shirts - and you know that you have to be pretty quick here...

I'm about to order the shirt with the CC heartprint...or the perfume bottle?!? Argh, I just can't decide which one to take :o) Which one is your favourite?

It's YSL madness!!!

I know, I already have the infamous Arty ring in turquoise, but I figuered that it won't hurt to get a second one (especially in one of the rare colours). Actually, I wanted to wait for my birthday, but you know how quickly those must-haves are sold out... In Fashion, most of the time it's now or never! But I guess, this also applies to life in general.

Those dancing days are gone...

Tweet I got this H&M Trend skirt a while ago, but I never got round to wearing it. It's a high-waisted flouncy skirt in a salmon red that actually goes with nothing but black and white. So I decided to wear it with my black ballet bodysuit, because it reminds me of a modern ballet tutu. By the way, I'm actually thinking about taking ballet classes again... I really miss dancing. At school, I even did en point classes. Carla Bruni is singing "those dancing days are gone", but I'm going to make sure that they will come back :-)

Most Twitter channels managed by designers and brands are a bit of a yawn. But there are a few designers who really know what Twitter is about. I particularly love the @dkny and the new @hugoboss channel. Tomorrow, the mysterious Miss Hugo Boss will be tweeting live from the menswear fitting for the upcoming fashion show - the perfect twitter program for a rainy Sunday.

Nope, I'm not going to NY, but I'd love to. I've only been there once and I definitely want to go back again. But at the moment, I'm working on my Bachelor Thesis - the deadline is end of June. So then I'll finally become a Bachelor(-ette) ;o)

H&M New York New York shirt, H&M leggings, Lanvin flats, Chloé bag

I'm really into my H&M zip-detailed leggings these days, they're so comfy. And since I'm a firm believer in retail therapy, I got this Shirt on one of my countless retail therapy trips to H&M (believe me, writing a Bachelor Thesis is pretty exhausting). Yesterday, I had another writer's block, but unfortunately the shops were already closed. I quickly found a solution to the problem: online-shopping. The good thing is, that I overcame the writer's block. But I definitely can't afford another one.

I always had a thing for patent leather ballerinas. I guess, I was even the first one wearing chic black patent leather shoes in my play school ;o) Haha... So it's no surprise that I just couldn't say no to these beauties, especially 'cause they were on sale. Believe me, the ballerinas from Lanvin are definitely worth the investment. And I adore the blue boxes with the black ribbon they're sold in.

Yesterday, my parents returned from their holiday in South Italy. My Dad told me, that he got me a little souvenir, which I would absolutely love. So I was thinking of some typical souvenir, you know, like food, a straw hat or some silly little thing. But apparently my Dad knows exactly what I like: I got this fabulous strawberry necklace and I must say, he totally got it right: I love it. Tank you so much, Daddy!
