On the weekend I celebrated my birthday and enjoyed a night out with some friends. It kind of felt like the last weekend of summer... I dressed down my vintage Hervé Lèger dress with a Zara leather jacket and simple Louboutin pumps. We had lots of fun this evening and with all those lovely summer memories I'm ready to head for the new season...

Just realized, that I totally forgot to show you this look. Those H&M shorts with bow details are my favourite piece this summer. I wear them all the time. But since summer will soon be over, I think I will treat myself to some stuff for fall/winter on the weekend...

Ibiza Part 2

Here are some more pictures from my trip to Ibiza...

We spent the week in a nice hotel by the sea, so we could go to Ibiza town by boat in the afternoon or evening. I especially love the old upper part of Ibiza town ("Dalt Vila") with all its fine restaurants and narrow streets. Ibiza is also a great place to shop - two years ago I went for this silk dress in a cute little shop in Ibiza and I'm still in love with it.

What I'm wearing: Zara dress, Chanel Sunglasses (vintage), Tiffany bracelet, Balenciaga bag and Lanvin flats

I wore my vintage Chanel Sunglasses all the time and my friend kept saying that they're so "Lady Gaga" ;-P

Every season it's the same: "The It-Bag is dead. Long live the It-Bag!" Let's face it: There will always be THE bag of the season. Next season, I bet that the "bag du jour" will be CELINE's "Luggage". Why?

1. It's about time for Phoebe Philo to make people get waitlisted for CÉLINE Accessoires (that was the reason why they hired her, wasn't it?!?)

2. MK Olsen was already seen toting around the black "luggage" back in March: (the Olsen fashion oracle seems to nail down the trends before they even hit the runway)

3. The Models were literally hugging that bag at Berlin Fashion Week.

So I better get it now and start saving later, right!?! ;o) Well, first of all, I have to track down a model in the right size, colour and leather...

Oh, and here's a little note for all those non-fashion-enthusiasts:

Whenever people keep bugging me with questions like "How many bags (especially black ones) do you own?" and "Isn't it insane to spend a fortune on a bag?", I always tell them to either watch "The September Issue" on DVD and convert to Fashionism or simply stop raising this subject. I mean, it's only bags, for crying out loud! :o)

Sunset @ Café del Mar

It has been awfully quiet on my blog for the past few weeks, but I really needed to take a vacation ;o)

So I just got back from my trip to Ibiza yesterday and I wanted to share the first set of photos with you - we went to Café del Mar to watch the sunset and I must say, it was the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen (though it was a little bit cloudy).
