Summer is finally back! I spent all afternoon outside and had a barbecue at my parents'. Why can't every weekend be like that?

Mirror, mirror on the wall...

I guess we fashion girls are all the same. We cannot pass a mirror without checking our look -hahaha ;) Come on, admit it, we always have a look, even if it's only a glance...

So when Sarah, my friend and photographer for the day (thank you so much for the great time, honey!) and I discovered this beautiful mirror, we couldn't resist doing a little photo shoot session in front of it. The mirror was hanging on a wall in a very cute and cosy coffeehouse where we had rhubarb pie, cranberry juice and chai tea latte and where we spent a wonderful afternoon chatting and browsing fashion magazines.

The mint green H&M Trend skirt has finally found its way into my closet :) It is so airy and with the light turquoise color it reminds me of a mermaid's fins, don't you think?

Valencia

Here are the photos from the last destination of our cruise: Valencia. I was impressed by the City of Arts and Sciences, which was designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, and I also fell in love with the beautiful architecture of the old part of the city. And of course, before going back to ship, we had the typical Paella Valenciana :)

Here is one of my favorite dresses. I bought it in London a few years ago from the Kate Moss for Topshop collection, which was inspired by old fabrics and prints from Liberty's. As a matter of fact, I've always liked the 70s style and I will keep wearing that dress until it falls apart. I bet you also own at least one garment that you have been wearing for years, no?!?

Tweet Capri was one of the most beautiful destinations of our cruise. The landscape is breathtaking, the food is amazing and it's a great place for shopping. I am definitely coming back, that's for sure :D

Tweet As I already told you, I just came back from one of the best vacations I ever had. Cruising the Mediterranean Sea I especially enjoyed sailing away from one harbor to the next anticipating new adventures and experiences. We mostly took off in the early evening, so just in time to watch the sunset.

I was out of touch for a little while because I was on vacation cruising the Mediterranean Sea :D

It was one of the best holidays ever and I loved arriving at a new port each day and discovering lots of new places. We started off in Palma de Mallorca and the first station was Tunis, where I went to a Souk for the first time - so inspiring but also a little scary because they're pretty pushy and want to sell you all kinds of things you don't need.

Next up was Valetta, Malta. Not only was I impressed by the history of Malta, but also by the many movies that have been shot here ;) I also loved the typical old buses, but apparently they'll soon be replaced with new ones.

The next stop: Palermo, Sicily, where we spent lots of time at the local market.

After Palermo, we spent a wonderful day in Capri (I will soon show you the photos of this stop) and then we were heading to Rome.

It was pretty challenging to do Rome in just one day, but I left out the shopping and managed to see the Fontana di Trevi, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Vatican City and St Peter's Basilica. And of course, I ate loats of Italian ice-cream :D

From Italy we sailed to France and arrived in Ajaccio on Corsica the next day. Finally, I had some time to go shopping and Ajaccio turned out to be the perfect place for that. I'll tell you about my purchases later on. Ohhh, and I couldn't resist to take pictures of the beignets and the pain aux raisins. The French are simply the best when it comes to food :)

The last stop of our cruise was Valencia. From there we went back to Palma de Mallorca and straight to the airport to catch our flight. I arrived back home yesterday and just wanted to give you a quick update about what I've been up to on my vacation. But believe me, I took so many photos, so there's more to come, especially of Capri and Valencia and the cruise liner, of course ;)
